
Amazon is hiring full-time, work-from-home customer service reps in 25 states, including Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Virginia.
This temp job pays $10 per hour, for up to 60 hours a week, plus the opportunity to earn a bonus. The position also includes paid training, along with “dedicated resources to support your ongoing growth and development.” In addition, there’s is the option to “remain with Amazon” depending on business needs.
Job requirements are following:
- High School Diploma
- Fluent English language proficiency
- Basic typing, phone, and computer navigation skills
- Ability to navigate the Internet, multiple browsers, email and IM
- 1+ years in a service environment dealing with the public
- Ability to participate and complete mandatory training
- Ability to complete I-9 work authorization paperwork in person
Additionally, you will be needing a fast internet connection (no satellite or wireless internet) that delivers 10 mbps download and 5 mbps upload speeds or faster, a big monitor, and a working anti-virus software running on Windows 8, 8.1, Windows 10, or OSX 10.9 or higher.
Amazon is hiring new service reps to support its customers during the peak season (Thanksgiving through mid-January). For that reason, vacation requests will not granted in that period unless otherwise required by law. You may also be required to work on any/all major holidays.
