Annual fee: It’s $89, except for Senator and HON Circle Members who get the card for free.

Pros
- Valuable sign-up bonus – you get enough points to fly for free, and that’s just for signing-up!
- Introductory APR on balance transfer – if you have a card with higher APR, you can move it to this one to save on interest.
- Annual bonus – this feature alone will repay the cost of the card every single year.
Cons
- No introductory APR on purchases – although it is seldom included with travel cards, we would like to see it being added alongside the same rate on balance transfers.
- Potentially high APR – if you don’t have the excellent credit rating, you could end-up paying a ton on any balance you may carry. So make sure to pay everything you owe in full and on time.
Is This The Card For You?
If you often fly Lufthansa or one of its partners, the answer is YES. We advise our readers to use multiple credit cards, and in addition to the general purpose travel card to also own a card of their favorite airline(s). This way, they can get a number of goodies free of charge. Actually, they will have to pay that annual fee, but it’s well worth the money with annual companion ticket easily repaying it.
