The card made for frequent Frontier Airlines travelers offers a neat sign-up bonus, though nothing special. You get $100 Frontier Airlines flight discount voucher as soon as you spend $2,500 with the card (in the first year). Then again, there is no annual fee involved, but you do get a chance to earn points while using the card… and later redeem those points for free flights with the company. The redemption rate isn’t best though, but as we said it – you don’t have to pay a single dime upfront to get this card. Let’s look at the details, shall we?

Pros
- Sign-up bonus – those 40,000 points could get you two one-way flights with Frontier Airlines.
- Introductory APR on balance transfers – could be useful if you are currently using a card that has a higher APR (to move balance from that card to this one).
- Annual bonus in the form of $100 flight discount voucher after you spend $2,500 or more in purchases during your card membership year
Cons
- Intro APR applies only to balance transfers – again, we may want too much from a free card.
- Low redemption rate – practically you would have to spend $10,000 with Frontier Airlines or $20,000 on other purchases to get an award flight. That does sound a lot.
Is This The Card For You?
We say that everyone should get a card of his/her favorite airline, so if you often fly with Frontier Airlines – grab this card. Otherwise, there are many great travel cards on the market, some of which allowing you to collect “universal” points and convert them to airline miles and fly that way. That being said, the Frontier Airlines World MasterCard® does come with a decent sign-up bonus that can be converted to a few free flights. Check it out.
