How It Works?

Sign-up bonus: 10,000 points after spending $500 in purchases in the first 90 days. This is enough to redeem for $100 cash back.

Earn points: Get 2 points per dollar spent on NFL or Team purchases, including eligible game tickets, in-stadium and team pro shop purchases; and 1x point on all other purchases.

Redeem: Once earned, points can be redeemed for NFL game tickets (including Super Bowl tickets), team jerseys, and VIP stadium tours. Alternatively, you can redeem for NFLShop.com gift cards or good ol’ cash in the form of statement credit. The last option will get you 1% back.

Visa Signature benefits: Including Zero Liability on unauthorized transactions, 24-hour Concierge Service, Purchase Security, Lost Luggage Reimbursement, and more.

APR: 0% introductory APR for 15 months on balance transfers, after which a variable APR of 15.24%, 20.24% or 25.24% will apply, based on your creditworthiness. There is also the 0% intro rate for purchases but only for NFL tickets for the first 6 months. After that, the APR is 15.24%, 20.24% or 25.24% variable.

Pros

  • Sign-up bonus – $100 is pretty cool for a card that has no annual fee.
  • Introductory APR on balance transfers – if you could get the lowest rate, that could be helpful (by moving balance from some other card that has a higher APR).
  • This could be your path to the Super Bowl tickets – depending how much you end-up using this card, those tickets could be free for you. You may considering saving points from the sign-up bonus to get those tickets.

Cons

  • Foreign transaction fee – you are better off bringing some other card when travelling outside of the U.S.
  • If you are not an NFL fan, you should get some other card. This one offers best rewards for NFL stuff.

Is This The Card For You?

Could be… If you love NFL so much that you are already buying NFL tickets and other merchandise. Presuming that’s the case, the NFL Extra Points Visa Signature will reward your consent with 10,000 points when you spend $500 in purchases in the first 90 days. This is enough to redeem for $100 cash back, but you could get more if you redeem points for NFL stuff. As part of the deal, you will also benefit from 20% off at NFLShop.com and get to pick the card design, which is cool. We think.
