By getting diapers through a subscription service, you will not only save money but also have them ready whenever needed. And if you have the Amazon Prime plan, you will get an additional 20% discount. Or if you don’t have it, you may want to grab on now. It includes access to streaming video, free shipping, free ebook renting and much more.
Also, as part of your Amazon Family subscription you will also benefit from additional savings on other regularly used products such as wipes, formula and baby food. Yes, this is one of those must-have services every new parent should get!
2. Diaper Bag that Transforms Into a Change Station

4. Pacifier That Doubles As Thermometer
As many parents know, taking a baby’s temperature is easier said than done. That doesn’t have to be the case with a pacifier that doubles as thermometer. That’s right, there is this smart pacifier that measures an infant’s temperature while he/she holds it in the mouth.
The readings are displayed on a small display and you get to choose between readings in Fahrenheit or Celsius. 5. Self Closing Pacifier
This sort of pacifier is simpler tech-wise, but it’s handy nevertheless. When you take your baby outside, you’ll want to carry this one; it has a self-closing dust cover design, so when the pacifier falls it will automatically close, effectively isolating the bacteria.

10. Child’s Car Seat Sun Shade
You may protect your wheel from the Sun, but what about child’s seat? There’s a solution for that, and we can’t but wonder why it hasn’t been invented before. As you would imagine, the Car Seat Sun Shade is easy to install and store, with its elastic material supporting most car seats.
Simply unwrap it and stretch over the child’s car seat to cover the entire seat with shade. To remove it, wrap up the shade and use the built-in elastic strap to secure for storage between uses.

12. Cup That Conceals Medicine
Your baby refuses to take medicine? There’s a solution, called Sippy Sure – The Medicine Dispensing Sippy Cup, that lets parents conceal medicine. 13. Leash that Keeps the Cup/Bottle from Tumbling to the Ground
You may have already seen something similar, and by know you have most certainly realized this is one of those must have products. Our favorite baby bottle/cup leash is the PBnJ Baby SippyPal Sippy Cup Holder Strap Leash Tether, which has been invented by a mom. And who knows better this “stuff?” 😉

14. Leaf-Shaped Baby Bottle Learning Tool and Teether
The TipMeNot Baby Bottle Learning Tool is one of those products big companies just can’t invent. Rather, it was started as a crowdfunding project and has quickly gained traction among parents.
Basically TipMeNot is a baby bottle holder designed to help the baby hold and maneuver the bottle. Its tripod design allows the bottle to sit comfortably on the baby’s chest, while keeping the bottle from falling or rolling off. The baby is prompted to use her arms and body to tip and lift the bottle toward her mouth to drink from the bottle. This is difficult to do without the TipMeNot because of the weight of the bottle.
The product also prevents spillage when the baby drops or pushes the bottle to the side. The tripod system keeps the nipple elevated, preventing the contents of the bottle from leaking. No more wet floors, bed sheets, car seat, etc.
The rubber that is used to make the TipMeNot is FDA approved, so it is safe for teething as well. The product is also dishwasher safe, making cleaning that much easier. Love it!
15. BabyNes Formula Dispenser
You may have one of those espresso machines for your coffee; why wouldn’t your baby have one of her/his own, too? That’s where the Gerber BabyNes Baby Formula Dispenser kicks in, making life much, much easier for parents.
This fancy device allows parents to create the “perfect bottle” of a lump-free formula in less than a minute. To do so, adjust the temperature and simply pop a compatible BabyNes formula capsule in. And that’s it.

21. Smartphone-Connected Baby Monitor
Typically a baby monitor involves two separate devices: one with camera that sits close to the baby and another one in the parent’s room with display to show what’s going on with the baby.
The Withings Smart Baby Monitor removes the need for that second device, replacing it with your existing smartphone or tablet — as long as it runs iOS or Android — that runs the companion WithBaby app. This in turn allows two parents to monitor on their baby at the same time. Also, parents don’t have to be physically present in the house — they can watch their baby even while outside of home. And other people, like grandparents, can join the fun.

22. This Watch will Make Your Child Safe
It is a sad fact that over 2,000 children get lost or go missing every single day, and for some families it’s not always a happy ending. TickTalk Touchscreen Watch, the latest in child safety technology, keeps kids safe and connected with their parents through its easy-to-use features, making it a must-have for every parent in the world.
The wearable, touted as the “closest thing to holding your child’s hand all day,” enables parents to talk to their kids (like Dick Tracy), see their kid’s location on a map, get alerted if the watch is removed, and receive a text message if he/she leaves the previously defined safe-zone. In addition, you can “Check In” to make sure your kid’s ok by calling the watch in the so called Listener mode, to listen to your child’s surroundings.
On the other hand, the TickTalk Touchscreen Watch enables kids to trigger an emergency phone call by simply pressing the SOS button. Then, the watch will automatically call up to 8 preset phone numbers until it reaches one of your contacts.
Again — and unfortunately — the TickTalk Touchscreen Watch is a must-have device these days, and in that sense – we can’t recommend it enough.
23. Smart Thermometer
Forget that classic thermometer you have in some drawer — it is time to “up the game” with a smartphone-connected equivalent. And that’s where Withings Thermo kicks in, with its 16 infrared sensors that provide a medically-approved measurement in 2 seconds while also synchronizing with a dedicated smartphone app to help manage fever episodes.
Said app — available for iOS and Android devices — allows users to track temperature readings, get reminders, and input related symptoms/medications right on their smartphone. You can use this app to track your child’s fever as well as well temperature of other members of the family — Thermo supports up to 8 users. Also, unlike traditional methods, there is no need to undress and the baby feels nothing.
In addition to tracking temperature and symptoms, you can enter comments, medications, and even photos in any user profile. This helps you see if the treatment is effective and allows you to have a complete history to share with a doctor… Powerful stuff!
24. Wearable Temperature Monitor for Babies
The flu season is also the time when many new parents have trouble falling asleep, always checking in on their babies and their temperature. The 21st century has brought us a modern tool to sleep a little better, with technology alerting us when there is a real need to wake up.
The TempTraq is a sensor-laden patch that is placed under the arm and continuously senses, records and transmits temperature information using Bluetooth technology to a smartphone or tablet. It is comfortable to wear and easy to remove, allowing parents to monitor their sick child from the next room via the Tempera app on a device up to 40-feet away, every 10 seconds for 24-hours. Alerts will let a parent know when a child’s temperature is higher than desired, hence providing them with that extra hour of sleep.
Parents can also monitor multiple thermometers simultaneously, and email temperature data to healthcare professionals or family members with one touch.
There is one problem though — this is a single-use patch, so you will need to buy them whenever your child gets sick. Luckily TempTraq is a FSA (Flexible Spending Account) eligible item and is not that expensive.
25. Activity Monitor for Babies
If adults can have their activity trackers, so can babies. And that’s the niche the Boston-based company called Mimo is targeting with a few of its products, notably these two:
Mimo Smart Baby Breathing & Activity Monitor
This smartphone/tablet-connected product consists from a machine-washable cotton Mimo kimono (3 of these come included), the water-resistant and Bluetooth-enabled Turtle that attaches to kimonos, and the Lilypad base station. That “Turtle” part captures and notifies parents about changes in their baby’s activity, including irregular breathing, wake-ups, temperature changes and roll-overs. Mimo kimonos are available in 0-3 month, 3-6 month, and 6-12 month sizing, so you can keep monitoring your little one as they grow. Should you need it, the system supports multiple kids.
Mimo Smart Baby Movement Monitor
Similar to the previous product, this 28 x 52 inches washable crib sheet uses modern technology to send parents information about baby’s movement and sleep activity straight to their smartphone or tablet in real-time, along with live audio. The Movement Monitor will also alert you if no movement has been detected after a certain period of time.
With both Mimo products, you use the companion Mimo app to check in on your baby’s activity, whether you’re in bed, downstairs, out to dinner, or at the office.
26. Smart Kid Scale
Withings’ Smart Kid Scale offers a modern way to accurately monitor your baby’s growth. This Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled scale measures a baby’s weight by 0.4 ounce increments so that you confidently know where your child stands. Readings automatically synchronize with the Withings Baby Companion iOS app which displays your child’s growth charts and let you log your baby’s bottles and breastfeeding. The app also helps you compare his weight with the typical weight of babies of the same gender and age.
The Withings Smart Kid Scale converts from a baby to a toddler scale thanks to its removable baby cradle. Therefore, you can use it to track your child’s growth up to 55 pounds.
The scale is easily set up from a smartphone using the mentioned Withings baby companion app. It allows tracking of multiple babies and toddlers (including twins) with automatic recognition. Plus, there’s the option to share growth milestones with family and friends, and even show it to your pediatrician.
Yes, that’s the baby scale for the 21st century. 🙂
