Bath & Body Works

Bath & Body Works is one of those places people frequent for their beauty and aromatherapy needs. Like that’s not already good enough, we know how you can save at every purchase made with the company. And yes, we are sharing all we’ve learned in the past few days researching the different ways on how to save money at Bath & Body Works. Here are…

10 Easy Ways to Save at Bath & Body Works

Feel free to combine multiple tips to maximize your savings…

1. Sign up for the newsletter
Arguably the easiest way to save at Bath & Body Works is to sign-up for their newsletter, and let deals and coupons come to you. You can do that from the company’s website or even while in the physical store — just give the cashier your email address and he/she will make sure that the latest deals are delivered straight to your mailbox.

2. Take advantage of semiannual sales
Bath & Body Works holds two sales per year, one in January and another one in June. During those periods you will be able to stock up on things like candles, soaps and body care products, and enjoy savings of up to 50 percent. Moreover, some products are offered with an even steeper discount of 75 percent!

3. And Black Friday sales…
Major electronics retailers are not the only ones looking to benefit from this shopping holiday — Bath & Body Works is also running a neat campaign at that time, offering a number of special deals. Arguably, the one you’ll want to check out is the VIP Black Friday Bag which is filled with full size products and available to purchase starting on Friday morning at most stores.

4. Provide feedback and get a coupon
Like any modern company, Bath & Body Works wants to know what its customers like and what would they want to see improved. To that tend, the company runs surveys to help improve customer experience and is offering incentives to participants. In order to add your two cents, you should check the bottom of your next receipt, and you could receive a coupon code to be applied toward a future purchase. This doesn’t work all the time, but we are hearing stories of people scoring a $10 coupon.

5. Check out the Clearance section
If you want to experiment with new scents or other products you haven’t used in the past, check out the Clearance section. The idea is that you should avoid paying the full price for something that you are not sure will work for you. Also, this is the part of the store where you’ll want to find essentials like soaps and shampoos to stock up for the next few weeks (or months).

6. Get free gift wrapping in the store
There are no doubts that stuff bought at Bath & Body Works make for a perfect gift. The company knows that, and in order to encourage more people to buy their products as gifts, they are offering free gift wrapping, which includes dressing your gift up nicely in a cellophane bag with a ribbon and a card. Unfortunately though, this service is available for free only to actual visitors of a Bath & Body Works store, whereas those shopping online are asked to pay an additional $5 for gift wrapping.

7. Get a pre-owned gift card
This is one of those universal shopping tips you should use at just about any store, with the idea to buy a gift card from someone who doesn’t need it. There are a few online marketplaces where buyers and sellers of gift cards “meet,” and we suggest you try your chances with Gift Card Granny and Raise. At the time of writing this article, we managed to find a deal offering a Bath & Body Works gift card with a 10 percent discount, which is pretty neat. Another piece of universal shopping advice is to buy stuff through a cash-back site like Ebates. Right now, it is offering 1 percent off each purchase at Bath & Body Works made through its site. This is not a lot of money, but then again — you don’t have to work a lot to get it. Plus, you can combine Ebates with other tools to maximize your savings. See how every little adds up?

9. Clip the coupons
Coupons.com is your friend here but you can also find Bath & Body Works coupons on other sites. At the time of writing this article, we have found about a dozen different coupons, including those offering 20% Off Your Order; Up to 50% Off Home Fragrance; Buy 3, Get 2 Free Signature Body Care; and more.
