Looking for an additional source of income? There are a number of jobs you could try out today to earn a little extra on the side. We have selected those we think are most interesting. Or those that are easier to start with. Feel free to try all of them out and see which of them works best for you…
1. Get Money For Your Opinion

All of us have opinions about products and services we use. There are companies looking to get those opinions and some of them are willing to pay for the time it takes to fill out the survey. Share your thoughts to help decision makers behind your favorite brands, and get something in return.
Beyond earning cash, you can also qualify for gifts like vacations, electronics, gift cards and other great prizes. Moreover, some surveys will provide the opportunity to win cool prizes.
Some surveys pay just a few dollars, while some others could get you more. If you can submit more of these every day, at the end of the month, you could end up with a few hundred bucks of extra cash. Nothing to lose here.
We suggest you start with one or all of the following services:
They offer an array of surveys along with other ways to earn money (or valuable points) — instead of filling out forms, you will be watching videos which is much easier to do. Plus, some of these services will get you $5 just for signing up. π
2. Participate In Medical Research Studies

Not only will you help doctors find a cure, but you could also make some money along the way.
First thing first, this is not something everyone can do — you must qualify for a research study in order to participate. Then you will be relaying your opinions and positions towards current treatment options, and gain access to new treatments. Also, you may be invited to connect with other people that have similar symptoms, and to participate in dedicated events and meetings.
Some of the available studies include:
- Psoriasis – this study offers anywhere between $5 and $100 for taking online surveys that should ultimately contribute to advancements in medical treatment.
- Arthritis – earn up to $1,000 for participating in this study.
- Rheumatoid Arthritis – this study offers up to $625 compensation for sharing your thoughts and opinions.
3. Sign-up for MyPoints and Get a $10 Amazon Gift Card
MyPoints, for those who haven’t heard about it, is a cash-back site that lets users earn rewards by shopping online and printing coupons. It offers 5% cash-back on certain purchases on Amazon (and on other sites), but better yet — new users can get a free $10 Amazon gift card to spend on whatever they want.
First, you will need to sign-up for MyPoints, and use it the next time you want to buy something online. Since MyPoints is working with all major e-tailers — including Wal-Mart, Amazon, and Target — that’s not really a problem. Then, when you spend $10, MyPoints will reward you with 1,750 points that you can redeem for a free $10 Amazon gift card. And at the end, you got yourself a free shopping worth $10. That’s not a fortune, but you got it practically for free. So it’s cool. π
4. Drive for Uber

Driving for Uber won’t get you rich, but you can do it on your own terms. Set your own schedule and get 80% of everything you earn as a driver, with 20% going to Uber. Depending on where you live, you will have a lot of small rides, or a few big ones. It is up to you select the pace that works best for you.
If that’s something you’re considering, here are the requirements:
- You must be at least 21 years old
- You must have three years of driving experience
- You must have an in-state driver’s license and a clean driving record
- You must pass a criminal background check
- Your car must be able to accept four passengers (excluding the driver), be registered in-state and be covered by in-state insurance.
All checked? You can sign-up to drive for Uber from here.
5. Use Your Smartphone to Check On Local Businesses
Checking on local businesses with modern technology? There’s an app for that. It’s called QuickThoughts and it turns your iOS (iPhone) or Android smartphone into private-eye tool. Using the app you will be able to catch sneaky details at local joints and provide businesses with valuable feedback.
In the background, QuickThoughts sends your current location to determine which business you are currently visiting or which are nearby to suggest work opportunities. For instance, you could be prompted to snap a photo of a floor to show that place’s hygiene.
For your work, you can earn gift cards for Amazon and iTunes. Click here to download QuickThoughts for iPhone, and here to download it for your Android phone.
6. Earn Money for Completing Healthy Activities
The service called Achievemint turns healthy activities into a rewarding experience. So if you ever needed extra motivation for your daily workout, now you got it.
Achievemint can be connected to popular workout apps and platforms such as Apple’s HealthKit, Fitbit, MyFitnessPal and RunKeeper, enabling users to earn points for logging their activity and overall fitness progress.
You start with 10 points just for signing up with the service and connecting it with the fitness app you may be already using. When you reach 10,000 points, you get $10.
7. Work for Amazon Mechanical Turk
Companies using the Amazon Mechanical Turk service require users to complete typically simple tasks with their computers. The idea here is not to look for a perfect task, but to accept many mundane tasks that that may cost as little as 10 cents and do as many of them as you can, as quickly as possible. You will need to practice a bit to be able to complete a dozen or few dozen tasks per hour and eventually earn up to $10 per hour. The faster you can get, the more money will you earn.
It is not a get-rich-quick scheme, and you will have to put in some serious hours to get to a decent hourly wage. Still, it could pay off. You just need to practice and learn along the way. Give it a try and see whether the Turk can work… for you. It rhymes. π
You can start by checking out this guide to avoid some costly mistakes…
8. Check-In at Theaters for Up to $30/Day

Getting paid to watch movies sounds like a dream, doesn’t it? It doesn’t have to be a dream though.
You see, there are companies collecting data about the audience that attends their movie premieres. The information they want to gather includes the most popular screening time, how many people bought tickets on opening day, and more. To make for that much better information they want bits of data from both theater companies AND third-party evaluators.
This service is available through mystery shopping companies, such as Certified Field Associates, which is available to residents of the U.S. and Canada. You will be asked a few questions, and if you are accepted as an auditor, you should watch their online assignment list. If you see a movie you want to watch, you can self-assign the “project” to yourself. And once in the theater you can do the “work” and get paid $10-20 per hour. Sweet.
9. Proofread Documents

Freelance proofreading pays around $17 per hour though the rate varies depending on the material, publisher, author and many other factors. Also, it’s up to you to do this job as fast as possible as an average rate per page for proofreading is 35 cents. The faster you become, the more money will you be able to make.
The good thing is that you don’t have to start it alone. There are services out there helping you jumpstart the proofreading career. One of them, ProofreadAnywhere.com, even offers a free seven-day mini-course. Check it out.
10. Test Websites and Apps

Companies are looking for real user feedback on their websites and mobile apps. They turn to providers offering these sort of services. In turn, these providers engage regular folks like you and me to test websites and apps. And that’s where you could kick in, and eventually make about $10 for spending 20 minutes evaluating websites or testing apps.
UserTesting is one of the companies doing this in the U.S. but there are others targeting people from other countries. You will have to find them yourself though.
If you are in the U.S. you could give UserTesting a try. They are known to pay via PayPal within a week…
11. Work as a Transcriptionist

Are you fast with your keyboard? You can work as a transcriptionist and earn anywhere between $15 to $25 per audio hour. The more complicated the text, the more money will you earn. So if you are familiar with law or medical jargon, you’ll end up with a bigger paycheck.
Nevertheless, there’s work for everyone here with many transcription assignments requiring no previous knowledge of any sort. These days researchers, field workers, reporters and even Average Joes are looking for someone to type up their recordings.
Again, you are paid per audio hour, so you should type as fast as you can. And later proofread everything before sending it back to the client…
The most important thing is to know where to start, and that’s where the Transcription Crash Course kicks in. This easy-to-understand, step-by-step guide will show you the exact steps to get your own transcription business started. You’ll learn about must-have tools and equipment every transcriptionist needs (which you probably already have), the time and money-wasting “solutions” you can live without and why, the different types of transcription and why you really only need one format, and where to find the invaluable resources to make your job easier and make your clients happier.
12. Earn Valuable Points (and Money) for Watching TV

Already a TV junkie? This one’s for you, as it will actually give you something back for all those hours spent in front of the big screen.
The service, called RewardTV, will pay you to answer trivia questions about last night’s TV shows. They want to know what people watch and which moment remain in their head a day after.
You will hardly earn a fortune this way, but if you are already doing it — why not get something in return. It is an easy way to make an extra 20 bucks (or so) a month.
13. Don’t Delete Your Emails
There’s an app service for “that.” And by “that” we mean getting you money for, at least, some of your emails. Said service is called Paribus, and it will get you a portion of the money back for select online purchases.
The service is free, but it is not without controversy — something’s gotta give, I guess — as it will scan your email archives for any receipts. If it detects that you have made a purchase from Amazon, Target or one of other retailers listed on Paribus’ website, it will track the price of the items you have purchased and issue a refund anytime there’s a price drop. The best part is that you don’t have to do anything (except give your consent to another service to dig through your email). Then again, let’s face it, if you use GMail – Google is already doing this without offering any cash back rewards. π
14. Get $5 to Start Investing
The service calledΒ Stash will offer you $5 to start investing. And you don’t have to commit any crazy amount of money or to have any specific knowledge to get started. In fact, Stash prides itself with its simplicity, allowing everyone — yes, everyone — to join the market. All you have to do is select from a set of portfolios that reflect your beliefs, interests and goals — and let Stash do the rest.
The service is accessible both from the web and a mobile app; using it, you can invest as little as $5 per week. You know how it all adds up after some time, and in that sense, you could look at Stash as your retirement bonus fund. Again, you get $5 just to try it out. (note: link is for the Stash iPhone app)
15. Offload you CDs, DVDs, Video Games and Electronics for Cash
Remember when was the list time you listened to a CD? Watched a DVD? Exactly. We don’t use those things any more. Even if you do that from time to time, chances are you have built a collection of these physical products that are seldom, if ever, used today. Those unused items could get you some extra cash with services like Decluttr.

Decluttr will buy your old CDs, DVDs, Blu-Ray discs and video games, as well as select electronics like mobile phones, tablets, game consoles and iPods.
Don’t expect the fortune for your old gear though; but then again, we are talking about stuff that collects dust somewhere in your closet. For instance, one user got $275 for 100 DVDs and 75 CDs, averaging at $1.57 per disc.
Like any modern service, Decluttr works with a mobile app, using which you scan the barcodes of your media to get immediate quotes. It is free to use, and there are no fees of any kind included. Perhaps more important, payment is super fast.
16. Browse the Web, Search, and Shop for Valuable Points
The Microsoft Rewards program will reward your (mostly) usual behavior on the web with points:
- Search – Search on Bing while signed in with your Microsoft account to keep putting points on the board. Ok, that’s not really that usual (most of us use Google).
- Shop – This one only applies to purchases from the Windows Store or Microsoft Store, where you will earn points for every dollar spent. Luckily, the latest Microsoft hardware, namely Surface tablets, is pretty cool.
- Browse – You will have to use Microsoft Edge and stay signed in with your Microsoft account to earn to get points this way. Again, the good thing is that Edge is much better than the old Internet Explorer and you won’t mind using it. Quite the contrary.
Once you reach a certain threshold, you will be able to redeem points for gift cards and use them to buy movies, music, games, apps, and more. Also, the money earned can be used towards the purchase of some Microsoft-made device like an Xbox One or a Surface tablet.
We are talking about $100-$200 per year, which may not sound much, but you don’t have to do anything crazy to earn it.
17. Connect Your Amazon Account with This Service to Get $3/Month

The service called ShopTracker won’t make you rich, but it also won’t require much action on your end. You will be required to connect your Amazon account and you’ll instantly receive a free $3 Visa gift card, plus another $3 for every month you keep it installed. Said app can be installed on a mobile phone, tablet or computer.
The software in the background tries to figure out what people like you are buying and create actionable reports for Amazon and other retailers. As they put it: “The input from ShopTracker participants helps businesses selling goods online make critical decisions regarding their distribution, sales, and advertising strategies.”
So they are paying users to help them get some solid data. Users on their end should just connect their Amazon account with ShopTracker and… that’s it.
18. Play Rewards Games to Improve Mobile Internet and Win!
A service called MobileXpression aims to develop a better understanding of the trends and patterns affecting the mobile Internet. The company provides useful data to its clients which can use it to make informed decisions regarding their mobile marketing strategies. To that end, MobileXpression is engaging the general public for the research purposes.
As a user, you will be invited to play an instant rewards game for a prize that could include an Amazon gift card, an iPad or a Samsung TV, among other things. The app, which is available for the iPhone and Android devices, will collect some of your data, but in return – you get to win cool prizes.

19. Rent Your Clothes Online

Most of us have clothes we seldom (if ever) wear but for some reason we refuse to dispose of them. Luckily, there are services that could help us out, not to sell that stuff – but rent it. If you have no trouble lending your clothes to complete strangers, these services could help you get some extra cash.
- Loanables.comΒ –Β This service goes way beyond clothes, and will let you rent just about anything.
- Style Lend – Aims to help customers make a positive impact on the environment, encouraging renting instead of buying and lending instead of tossing.
- Rent the Runway – Here you can rent your special-occasion or high-end clothes for a holiday party, wedding, New Year’s eve, and so on.
Finally, we advise you to read the fine print before renting your clothes, like what happens if your dress is damaged or who’s paying for shipping. Once you do that – you are good to go. π
20. Rent Your Closet Space

Somewhat related to the previous point, but again so different. With StoreAtMyHouse.com, you can rent free space in your home. It is an online service that helps owners and prospective renters find each other. Unlike Airbnb there are no people involved, except when they bring their stuff to your home (and eventually access their space).
You can rent your closet, attics and/or basement as temporary storage units. StoreAtMyHouse.com won’t charge any fees to post information about the free space you are renting and you are free to set the price and control the length of the rental, as well as add pictures of your space. The site also provides free sample contracts, using which you will be able to easily define the guidelines for the renter, including how often will they be allowed to access their space, and what type of items they can store in the space. Liability for the items held in the rented space could also be covered with the contract.
So if you have some extra space in your home, perhaps you want to rent it out and earn extra cash for the benefit.
21. Rent Your Backyard to Campers
If you live in a house (not in a flat), you can rent your backyard to campers. In order to do so, you can sign-up at the Gamping.com website where landowners and campers come together to exchange the “goods.”
The main premise of such a deal is simple: while homeowners (may) have a land to “spare,” campers are looking for an affordable place to place their tent.

To get started, you will have to create a profile at Gamping.com, and set up your property (backyard), including the amount you want to charge to campers. From here, you will also be able to upload photos of your house and the surrounding area, and include other details such as will campers have access to electricity, information on nearby attractions (if any), bathroom arrangements, and more.
Not all homeowners will find this interesting even though they may have a large piece of land. For one thing, those living in suburbia seldom manage to rent their backyard.
Another thing to consider are some cities’ policies that limit the number of days a tent can be placed in a backyard, while some others don’t allow campfires. So, you are best of researching a bit before setting up that profile…
22. Get Something Back on Purchases with a Rewards Credit Card

You can get one of those rewards credit cards that will get you a small percentage back on every transaction you make. There are a number of options to choose from with both big and smaller banks (and other credit card issuers) offering great products.
Some cards offer cash back and some other — points — which in some case could be worth more than cash. Then again, you will have to learn how to manage those points (hint: that’s nothing complicated).
Whether you choose a rewards credit card with points or cash back rewards, you are best off getting the one that fits your lifestyle. For instance, if you, say, live in New York and don’t have a car, it doesn’t make much sense to get a credit card that rewards gasoline purchases. Think it through before selecting the card that works best for your unique needs.
To sweeten the deal, some cards come with sign-up bonuses that could be worth anywhere between $50 and $300. So you can get an instant $100 (or so) just for signing-up (after your application has been approved by the bank).
We are sure that you will find your next card in one of the two links below:
- Click here to browse the Best Rewards Credit Cards
- Click here to browse the Best Cash Back Credit Cards
23. Work as a Part-Time Bookkeeper
And you could earn up to $60 per hour!

You don’t need some fancy diploma to get started, but you will need decent computer and math skills. If this is the path you want to take, you will have to learn how to use Excel (if you don’t already know it).
The best part is that this is something you could be working on from the comfort of your home. Or from a coffee shop.
Interested? Great, we have a neat resource to share. It’s called — guess — Learn To Be a Bookkeeper, and right from the bet it provides FREE training sessions. As they say it, “You will learn how to prosper in this proven profession… even if you have no experience.” Check it out.
24. Watch TV and Fill Out Surveys

There are general surveys and those designed to track specific activities. Harris Poll & Springboard America are running surveys in the second group, targeting TV watchers and will actually pay them for their opinion while enjoying a favorite show. Or a sports match. Or something else.
In other words, these companies will pay you to stay in the couch… or sofa. Just relax, watch TV and answer a few question. It’s that easy.
If you agree to participate, you should know that these sites won’t pay you in cash; rather, as you fill-in surveys, you will be earning points that later on can be redeemed for gift cards. You can, if you want, sell these gift cards for cash (though you are better off spending gift cards).
25. Watch Online Videos for Cash (Movie Previews Included)

You may have heard that taking online surveys could help you earn additional money every month. Swagbucks is one of such services, but it goes one step beyond surveys — it also allows users to earn money by watching online videos, latest news and even movie previews. In other words, you are getting paid for entertainment (rather than paying for it).
You get $5 just for signing-up, and from there it is up to you to watch as many videos as you can. And you will have to watch quite a few videos as many of them come in bundles (playlists) and you only get to earn something by watching the entire list.
The good news is that you can do this even while on the go. Swagbucks’ mobile app will turn your idle or commute time (if you are taking the bus or train) into a rewarding and entertaining experience. So there’s nothing to lose, quite the contrary.
Some users report earning as much as $200/month on Swagbucks. Can you beat that?
26. Sell Your Old Textbooks
Old textbooks may help you remember the “good ol’ days” in college but let’s face it – more often than not, they just occupy the space that could be used for something else. Selling them is a viable option.

The best way to do so is to use the service called Bookscouter, which will compare offers from over 35 book buyback vendors with a single search. This allows you to quickly and easily find who is paying the most for your textbooks. The service is 100% free and there is no registration required.
In order to get started, just enter a textbook’s ISBN (International Standard Book Number) on BookScouter’s website to instantly get several offers for your books from different vendors.
Once you’ve completed your transaction on a vendor’s website, you will get a free shipping label. Pack your books securely and drop them off at your local shipping center. Once the vendor receives and inspects your books for damage, you’ll get the money. It’s that easy!
27. Sell Your Old Clothes

You are not alone. All of us keep the clothes we seldom, if ever, wear. Our closets are full of it. You could give away these clothes or easily sell it… with a mobile app.
An app called Poshmark lets everyone “buy and sell fashion.” It is by far the single most popular service in its category, and is reportedly used by 1 in 50 American women. And men use it, too…
The Poshmark app description goes like this:
Do you have items in your closet that didn’t work out? Maybe a designer handbag, statement shoes, or even your old wedding dress you wore once and won’t ever wear again? Poshmark is the #1 online consignment solution for a girl to sell her unwanted clothing in order to buy new things she’s coveting, providing an alternative to Goodwill and other consignment stores like Buffalo Exchange.
Do check it out and see if you could make some additional cash out of your old or unused clothes.
28. Sell All Other Items You Don’t Need
If you’ve been hoarding stuff left and right, now’s the time to sell it all. It is easier than ever with the app called letgo. Simply snap a photo and upload your item in less than 30 seconds. It’s not only super-easy but also 100% free. No percentage, commission or transaction fees for your listings.
Inside the app, you can chat privately with interested buyers, as well as share stuff with your contacts on Facebook, WhatsApp and other social services. This way, the saying goes, you can more easily offload the stuff you don’t need/use.
Or you could use letgo to buy stuff other people are selling. By removing the middleman (store), you could save some cash.
Alternatively, there are “old school” services like Amazon and eBay. You can use them to sell items you don’t need, as well. It’s you choice.
29. Get $5 to Start Saving with Clink
Want to start saving but not sure where to start? Try Clink and get $5 to get started.
The service, accessible through a mobile app on iOS and Android devices, wants to help users save at least a dollar per day. That may doesn’t sound much, but considering that a very few Americans actually save anything, it is a bold goal.
When you register for Clink you are basically filling out all the required information needed to open an investment account. Then you can choose your method of savings. You can either link your credit card and set a fixed percentage of your expense for Clink to allocate to your savings or you can put yourself on a schedule and set a fixed amount to be transferred to your Clink account starting from as little as $1 a day. Then all that is left is to choose which Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) portfolio you want to invest in and you are all set.
Your money is SPIC insured up to $500,000 so you are always protected and you can withdraw at any given time. Check it out.
30. Sell Your Services Through Thumbtack
Your potential customers come to Thumbtack looking to hire professionals to help them accomplish their personal projects. They answer specific questions about their needs, Thumbtack reviews these requests to ensure they are legitimate, and send you leads via email or text message.
If you are interested and qualified, you can respond by sending a quote, along with a personal message. Thumbtack on its end will send your profile to the potential customer along with your past work, qualifications, contact information, and reviews. You pay only when you send a quote with Thumbtack Credits.
When you are hired, the details are arranged directly with the customer and after you’re done with the job, let Thumbtack know about it to improve your chances of winning your next customer.
It may sound complicated but it really isn’t. The service supports a number of service categories and you should be able to find something that fits your skill set…

It’s really that easy. Nothing to lose, just $10 to get.
34. Get Up to 20% Cash Back on Purchases with Seashells
Seashells may not be the most popular shopping service in the world, but it is offering great value to its users, nonetheless. Its users can get up to 20% cash back at 150 retailers, including those you already use, such as Amazon, Macy’s and Walmart.

In order to benefit from these savings, you should shop through Seashells rather than going directly to the retailer’s website. Also, the service can also be used while in-store.
Seashells generates a custom gift card at checkout, and you use that gift card to pay for items (rather than using a credit card). Or, if you are at a physical store, the mobile app will create a barcode for the cashier to scan. Once the transaction is complete, a percentage of the amount spent will be transferred to your Seashells account.
Some sites, including Amazon, support Seashells’ gift cards with custom amounts so “no penny is left behind.” On the other hand, some sites and stores could require certain minimums, so you better read the fine print before start spending.
In any case, with Seashells you get to potentially save hundreds of dollars per year, so it’s worth the effort. Right from the bet, that effort will be rewarded with a free $5, after spending your first $20. Cool stuff.

Interested candidates will be presented with a two-minute online quiz about common grocery store items, such as different kinds of fruit, cereals, an 18-pack of eggs, and so on.
If you pass this round, you will be invited for a 15-minute phone interview, and perhaps move to the in-person interview. Good luck. π
36. Drop a Few Pounds for Cash
It sounds too good to be true but that really is the case with the service called HealthyWage.
It is free to use, allowing users to create personal challenges with themselves and get cash prizes for achieve their own goals. It’s not as easy as it sounds, but you will definitely get an extra dose of motivation knowing that you could win something if you manage to reach your target weight, or lose money if you don’t.
Those who accept the challenge could potentially win hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. At its website, HealthyWage highlights its users’ success stories some of whom have won a few thousand dollars. The most notable example, Anastasia, lost 41 pounds and went home with whopping $10,000. Do check it out. This is a rare money-making service that will also make you healthier.
37. Earn $12-$15/Hour for Writing Letters to Legislators

If you are a good writer, you could make between $12 to $15 per hour writing letters to members of Congress. This is possible through the NextWave@Home advocacy group, which runs grassroots political campaigns on a number of issues, including healthcare, energy, defense and taxes.
As part of its mission, NextWave hires people to call their constituents and/or advocates. Your job, “should you choose to accept it,” is to help NextWave by writing letters on their behalf to members of Congress. They promise competitive compensation and incentives, an opportunity to talk to people across the nation, and — of course — the chance to affect important issues of today.
Aside from writing letters and using email client/software, you don’t really need to have any special skills to get started with NextWave…
38. Sell Your Unlimited Data Plan on eBay
Today, you can’t get the truly unlimited data plan, but at one point in the past, that was possible. And carriers are obliged to respect that contract, so if you still have one of those unlimited plans, you can still surf the web and download files as much as you want.
Or, you could sell that plan to someone else. You would be surprised how much money such contracts are worth these days.

The easiest way to proceed is to go to eBay where you could get anywhere between $300 and $2,000 for your unlimited data plan. You got that right, some users managed to get 2 thousand dollars for their unlimited plans. How weird is that?
Some paperwork will be required in order to make this a legally binding contract so that the carrier keeps delivering unlimited GBs of data to the other user, but it’s worth the effort…
39. Install Slidejoy on Your Android Smartphone
Slidejoy wants to serve trending news and ads on your Android smartphone (iPhone is not supported), and is willing to pay for the benefit. Its app is free to download, and upon installing it, you will be able to make money by checking news and to unlock your lock screen.
Once you register on Slidejoy, every time you unlock your phone, you will get a card with news or a promotion on your lock screen:
- Slide UP on your lock screen to see more news
- Slide RIGHT on your lock screen to unlock your phone and go to your home screen
- Slide LEFT on your lock screen to get more information on the content
- Slide DOWN on your lock screen to access your notifications and app shortcut menu
The best part is that, in order to make money with Slidejoy, you do not have to slide left, take a survey, tap for money, download an app, or do anything other than to use your phone as you normally do. You also don’t receive more or less for engaging with the ads.
Slidejoy pays you in cash (via PayPal) or gift cards, but you can also donate the money earned to a charity. You can earn up to $60 year with Slidejoy…
40. Share What You Have in Fridge for Cash
National Consumer Panel (NCP) wants to know what’s in your fridge. That data is then shared with the company’s clients which try to create new products or modify existing ones for the benefit of the general public.

Once you sign-up for the service, you will get a free scanner or an app to install on your smartphone, using which you will be able to scan barcodes of products that you put in the fridge.
For your effort, the Panel will award you with points for every barcode scanned. These points can later be redeemed for a different types of merchandise, including electronics, jewelry, household items, toys, and more.
If you’re good in this, NCP will keep sending other opportunities your way, and you will be able to earn even more points (and later redeem them for useful prizes). Heck, you could also be enrolled in many sweepstakes to potentially win such valuable prizes as vacations and cars. Good luck. π
41. Test Drive Cars for Cash

A special kind of mystery shopping lets you test drive cars, and actually get paid for it. The company providing this service is BestMark, and it also offers other mystery shopping opportunities in such industries as banking, casino, health care, hotels, restaurants, retail and more.
As part of your test driving gig, you will be asked to visit car lots and pose as a potential buyer. There, you will be presented with an opportunity to test drive a car, which is much better than listening to the salesmen seemingly never-ending pitch.
After you’re done with that dealership, you should file a report, describing the experience and get monetary reward for your time. Apparently, you can earn as much as $60 per car dealership visited. So yes, it could be worth the effort.
42. Teach English Online
There are a few services that will let you share your knowledge for money. You DO NOT have to travel or have some specific skills. For one thing, you could teach people English or some other language. All you need is Skype.

The service we suggest is called Preply. There, you can register as a teacher, set up a profile and wait for students to call you. Even better, you can proactively search for students.
Your chances of getting students increase if you know/speak some less-used language but you can just as easily start with English.
There’s one thing you should know – when a student purchases their first hour with you, Preply’s commission will be 100% of its value. Later on, the commission will vary from 18% to 33% of tutoring hours purchased through the platform, depending on the total number of hours a tutor sells through Preply. The more tutoring you do through Preply, the less commission you pay.

45. Learn New Skill and Sell Your Services

This isn’t an easy way to earn cash, but is arguably the most rewarding, long-term. If you commit to invest some of your free time to learning new skills, sky could be the limit.
We suggest you start with skills related to digital marketing and social media, as those two don’t require that much of a tech background. Then, you could offer these services to interested companies and earn as much as $100 per hour. Again, some effort on your end will be required, but once you get into it — you’ll love it.
One of the best places to start is Udemy, where you will find course on many in-demand subjects. Many courses cost as little as $19, so there is really not much to lose. And once you gain new skills, you will be able to search for higher paying gigs.
Alternatively, you may decide to create and sell your own course on Udemy. That’s also an option.
46. Rent Your Apartment to Tourists
There are a few services that allow you to do this, with Airbnb being the best-known destination where tourists rent apartments from other people all across the world.

In order to get started, you will have to open an Airbnb account and setup your listing with all the details. Those “details” are what makes or breaks the transaction. For one thing, you *must* provide free internet to your guests. Also if you offer other amenities (AC, parking, etc.) or live in a vicinity of some well-known attraction, make sure to mention that, as well.
Another thing you should take good care of are photos. Your photos should show both your apartment and its surroundings. If needed, ask a friend who knows how to take good photos, cause at the end of day, a picture is worth a thousand words.
You could also promote your apartment on social media, telling your friends to tell their friends about it…
47. Become an Affiliate Marketer

That means selling other people’s products and services over the internet. It sounds confusing and part of it is actually complicated. So you are best off having a guide on this potentially lucrative trip.
You see, most affiliate marketers don’t earn a single penny, cause they don’t know what they are doing. There is a better way, of course. We suggest signing-up for Affilorama (it’s free) and exploring all the content they have to offer about affiliate marketing.
Prepare to learn new stuff and work a lot. However, after some time, this could be a full-blown carrier. Some affiliate marketers are making thousands per day, some are not that lucky. Or don’t have what it takes. You should give it a try, nonetheless.
48. Become a Baby Sitter (or Nanny)
The service called Sittercity makes it easy to become a baby sitter or nanny. It is designed to help parents find “more than child care” by pairing them with sitters and nannies who will “challenge, nurture and enrich kids when mom and dad can’t be there.”
As part of that goal, Sittercity thoroughly checks on candidates. If you apply for a job, they will do various background checks on you, conduct phone and in-person interviews. Also, any references provided will be evaluated.
Every 9 seconds a family meets a new sitter at Sittercity. Also, 2,200 new sitters join the service every day. You can join them, too. π
49. Start a Party Rental Business
This is one of those businesses that can be operated from a home. It is also a great business for families and, obviously, kids love it.
However, as any business, following the proper plan keeps you from doing the wrong things and focusing on the things that really work. So, what you want to know are the steps you need to take to get started now. What equipment to buy, where to find insurance and how to market your new business.
In other words, you need a guide. And that guide is, obviously called, How to Start, Operate and Expand a Successful Party Rental Business. Check it out.
50. Become a Digital Marketer

This is an in-demand job/career that could get you $60k+ per year. You will need some time to master the tools of the trade, but the time you put into learning will be well paid for.
Digital Marketing is already a $50 Billion+ industry that keeps growing every year. The jobs in this field aren’t just for Marketing Majors or Coders. In fact these jobs are perfectly suited for tech savvy college graduates (and current students) with good analytical and writing skills, and creativity.
The author of this course was unemployed in 2011 with a BFA from NYU in Film and got his first entry level job with nearly zero experience; 3 years later, he was making $100K and have since worked remotely, been paid hundreds of dollars an hour for consulting, and pursued by recruiters on Linkedin. Oddly enough colleges are not preparing students with skills for these jobs, so the demand for workers is through the roof.
The best part? You can start with a free course.

53. Surf the Web and Earn Sweepstakes Entries
It’s really that simple and comes to you compliments of Nielsen Digital Voice, which is “committed to shaping the digital world.” In order to enter regular entries into the $10,000 Monthly Sweepstakes, you will have to fill out the questionnaire about you, your household, and the devices you use to go online. Next, you’ll download an app, and let Nielsen keep up with your browsing habits. Said app is non-invasive and won’t affect your computer’s performance. Also, it’s anonymous and your privacy won’t be affected in any way.
So to summarize: fill out the questionnaire, install the app, and browse the web to win cool prizes. Good luck! π
54. Help Companies Manage Their Social Media Activities
Businesses around the world are hiring people to help them manage their social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. There is a lot of money in this field, and the best part is that you don’t need any qualifications, prior experience or specialized skills. You will need a computer with an internet connection and a good knowledge of how to use Facebook, Twitter or YouTube. Also, prepare to put in a few spare hours per day (or week) to make this work.
There are currently positions open worldwide for work on simple jobs such as:
- Posting Facebook comments – $25 per hour
- Commenting on and “liking” YouTube videos – $20 per hour
- Tweeting special offers and promotions – $200 per week part time
- Social Media Manager – $1050 per week full time
- Managing Facebook groups and contests $27 per hour
And that’s just a start with the Paid Social Media Jobs website offering a wide range of jobs. These position are filling fast so you better hurry…
