How It Works?
Survey types: Pinecone Research offers two kinds of surveys — short one that are free and take 2 to 5 minutes, and paid one that could take up to 20 minutes to complete. You are, however, better off filling out the free ones as well, as they can qualify you for bigger (paid) surveys. These surveys are sent you via email.
Rewards: For each survey taken, Pinecone Research awards its members with a minimum of 300 points, which equate to $3. In Canada, the payout is $3 CAD per survey, and in the UK – £3 per survey completion.
Redemption: Once you have accumulated at least 300 points — completed one paid survey — you can redeem the points for money via PayPal or Check. Alternatively, you can opt to get a gift card from the likes of Amazon, Starbucks, iTunes, Walmart and so on.
Product testing: From time to time — and once you have established some track-record — Pinecone may send you products to test (and review) from home. In some cases, you may be allowed to keep the product once you have finished testing it.
Sweepstakes: In addition to paying members for taking surveys, Pinecone Research also conducts two separate sweepstakes — a bi-weekly and quarterly draw. Typically, the former get lucky participants $500, while letter awards $4,500 to one lucky winner.
Responsive customer service: Any question you may have about Pinecone Research will be responded in (usually) 1-3 business days, or even quicker depending on the workload of employees during the time of your question.
